The Anti-Ragging Committee is established to prevent and address any incidents of ragging within the Institute. This committee is responsible for implementing anti-ragging policies, conducting awareness programs, and ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
At Durgapur Institute of Nursing Sciences, we are deeply committed to providing a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all students. Our Anti-Ragging Committee is dedicated to enforcing a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of ragging or bullying on campus. This committee comprises faculty members, administrative staff, student representatives, and counselors, all working together to ensure that students feel secure and valued throughout their educational journey.
The Anti-Ragging Committee actively raises awareness about the adverse effects of ragging, creating an environment of mutual respect, inclusion, and empathy. We conduct regular orientation sessions, workshops, and awareness campaigns to educate students about the institution’s anti-ragging policies and the severe consequences of violating them. Our goal is to create a welcoming campus atmosphere that fosters positive relationships among students, built on trust and understanding.
Students who experience or witness any form of ragging are encouraged to report it immediately. Our committee is committed to investigating all complaints impartially, ensuring confidentiality and taking prompt, appropriate action as per regulatory guidelines.
