GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)

The Diploma course in General Nursing and Midwifery is a three-year programme approved by INC and WBNC. On successful completion, students shall be awarded a Diploma in GNM certificate.

B.Sc. Nursing

The B.Sc. in Nursing is a four-year professional degree course recognised by INC and WBNC and affiliated to WBUHS. Graduates are awarded a B.Sc. Nursing degree and RNRM registration, qualifying them to work as Registered Nurse and Midwife.

  • Prepare graduates to offer promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative services.
  • Enable independent decision-making in clinical and community health scenarios.
  • Promote the ability to conduct research and improve nursing practices.
