The admission process for the B.Sc. Nursing program at Durgapur Institute of Nursing Sciences is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of The West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS). The process is merit-based and transparent.

Step-by-Step Admission Process

1. Online Application:
   Candidates must apply through the WBUHS official admission portal by submitting academic and personal details along with required documents.
2. Common Entrance Test (CET):
   All applicants must appear for the CET conducted by WBUHS. The exam assesses knowledge in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
3. Publication of Merit List:
   Based on CET scores and reservation norms, WBUHS releases a merit list.
4. Counseling & Seat Allotment:
   Qualified students participate in centralized counseling where they may select a seat at Durgapur Institute of Nursing Sciences.
5. Document Verification:
   Selected candidates report to the institute with original documents:
   • CET rank card
   • 10+2 mark sheet
   • Age proof
   • Caste/PwD certificate (if applicable)
   • Medical fitness certificate
   • Recent passport-size photographs
6. Fee Payment & Enrollment:
   Upon successful verification, candidates must pay the first-semester fees. A provisional admission letter and student ID are then issued.

Note: NRI and foreign students must submit equivalent academic credentials and obtain clearance from the Indian Nursing Council (INC). All admissions are provisional until approved by WBUHS and INC.
