To ensure smooth functioning and high academic standards, the college has constituted various statutory and non-statutory committees as per the norms of the Indian Nursing Council (INC), West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC), and the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).
1. Academic Committee Objective: To plan and monitor academic activities, curriculum implementation, and student performance. Functions:
• Prepare academic calendars and timetables
• Review syllabus coverage and teaching plans
• Coordinate internal assessments and remedial classes
2. Anti-Ragging Committee Objective: To maintain a ragging-free campus and ensure student safety and well-being. Functions:
• Conduct awareness sessions on anti-ragging laws
• Monitor student interactions and hostel environments
• Take prompt disciplinary action in case of any violations
3. Examination Committee Objective: To ensure the smooth conduct of internal and university examinations. Functions:
• Prepare exam schedules and invigilation rosters
• Maintain confidentiality of question papers and answer scripts
• Coordinate with WBUHS for university exams
4. Research & Ethics Committee Objective: To promote evidence-based nursing and ethical standards in research. Functions:
• Guide student and faculty research projects
• Review and approve research proposals for ethical compliance
• Organize research workshops and seminars
