Minimum age for admission will be 17 years. (as on 31st December of that Year) The upper age limit is 35 yrs. For ANM/ for LHV, there is no age bar. B.Sc. (N)

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

Minimum education:

10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

Student shall be medically fit.

Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing or B.Sc Nursing is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility criterion for which is the successful completion of 10+2 level of education in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with 50 % for all categories.

B.Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme focused on developing critical care advanced thinking skills proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery as mentioned in the National Health Policy 2002. The programme is streamlined to enable students to address the health needs of the nation society and individuals. The programme prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal social and professional responsibilities to respond to national objectives. B. Sc. Nursing programme involves classroom study projects and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge of their learning. After the completion of the programme the students are required to undergo a six-month internship to experience the real-world clinical settings and learn from them.
